Fitness as a Way of Life

Health and fitness have been a vital part of my life for many years. I pride myself on consistently pushing myself both physically and mentally. This has helped me keep myself healthy through my 30’s and as I approach my 40’s.

Why Build a Home Gym?

I decided to build a full home gym, not only for the time savings but because of the love for lifting weights. I am a father, husband and business owner. So time is one of my most important resources.

Being able to hit the gym, with intensity, from my own home is a game changer.

Weekly Routine & Long-Term Goals

I lift weights 5 days a week. I’ve done many different lifting plans, but normally do some sort of mix of push, pull legs mixed with upper, lower splits. My current goal is to continue to build muscle and improve body composition throughout my lifting career.

What GMWD Equipment Do You Own?

I currently have the following GMWD machines: pec fly machine, lateral raise machine, incline fly machine, seated dip, seated back machine, pendulum squat machine, leg extension, bicep curl machine, T-bar row, back extension machine.

User Experience: Commercial-Grade Quality at Home

These machines have been a game changer for the home gym. The quality for the price allows me to add effective equipment that doesn’t break the bank. Therefore, I can add more pieces for specialization.

This isn’t to discredit the quality of the equipment compared to what is available in commercial gyms. Prior to completing my home gym I was an avid commercial gym goer. Since cancelling my membership I only feel like I’ve gotten in better shape.
