For the price, this bench is excellent. It was easy to assemble. The manual states you'll need to use a common screwdriver that isn't supplied along with rubber mallet. But those tools aren't really needed. The two supplied wrenches will suffice for the install. Since I have my own tools I just used mine. The rubber mallet can come in handy to tap the sliding parts into place, but a slight wiggle and jiggle makes the pieces slide together.The bar stand handles a typical 48" Olympic curl bar with ease and plenty of room to spare on each side. Adjustment via the **** is very simple at all adjustment points. Plenty of adjustments for various heights. It is a very stable and sturdy piece of equipment. I do not see any danger of it tipping forward, due to the extended foot platform at the front and the placement of the bar stand.Padding is very good, and the arm pad has plenty of width to accommodate various placement of your arms for curls. If there was one negative, it would be the arm pad cover is slightly sewn loose at the top corners.An excellent buy at its price point and excellent quality to boot!
Took 30 minutes to assemble. Not very in depth instructions, but easy enough to follow and build. I would recommend using a ratchet and wrench, not what they provide. I also attached both cushions before putting parts into bench as pictured. Overall I am very happy. The seat seems very comfortable. I will update in 3-6 months to see how it holds up to frequent use. As of now, I would absolutely recommend this.
Very sturdy and comfortable.Where the curl bar rest I cut the bottom and shortened it about 7 inches because it was to far from the preacher pad so I wouldn’t pull my lower back.
I shopped around for quite some time for a Preacher Curl bench and yes there are many out there that are cheaper but this one caught my eye and I did a lot of research on it from some Personal Trainer Videos on Youtube and I will tell you that this Preacher Curl Bench is not only Great Looking and Easy to Assemble but it is very very Sturdy unlike the cheaper models of Preacher Curl Benches. The packing it comes in is Phenomenal and probably the best part is I was able to put together by myself though it says to use 2 people and it's only about 8 Bolts total and you only need a couple of tools which they provide but others that the Seller recommends you to use which I used but altogether a GREAT PREAHER CURL BENCH with adjustable Wide Area solid Padded Arm Rest and the Seat is comfortable and Adjustable. I'm a 6'2 250lb. man and It fits me like a Glove but would also fit a person who is 5'5 140lbs. which makes this to me an Outstanding Preacher Bench at an OUTSTANDING PRICE...!!!
