I've been looking for a belt press for about a year now. I found myself nearly pulling the trigger on several in that time but held off for one reason. The footprint was too large for the space I had in my garage.
When I found this one, it felt like total luck. The dimensions were exactly what I needed. Along with the price, and the style it seemed like a no brainer. I grabbed it and it was at my door in a couple days.
The build process was easy. Instructions are easy to follow. It's incredibly solid. And the belt it came with was a welcome surprise and an upgrade from the one I had on hand.
I've had it for about a month now. I love everything about it. If I had to pick one thing that I would want to see changed, it would be the grips on the handles. But that's such a small issue and a statement to how much I like the unit. Really happy I took a chance on it.
This thing is a tank. The adjustability lets both me and my wife use it comfortably. Feels great and really allows you to target your quads over a back squat. Really like it so far.

Surprisingly good, beefy, quality movement. Took a chance on this and am glad I did. There are more and more belt squats out there on the market but they seem to either be too over engineered and pricey or so simplified as to consist of only a 2x2 piece of steel you rig up to your existing power rack. The latter usually has an awkward/limited range of motion and no way to comfortably set up since you have to start at the bottom of the moment. Enter this thing, where the point of connection is completely adjustable so the weight can come from directly below as well as the very well thought through safety mechanism which allows you to comfortably set up/attach and moves out of the way automatically when starting the movement. The steel is nice and thick and assembly was easy as every bag of bolts/nuts/washers was separated and numbered. I think we are entering a new era in fitness equipment being both high quality/functional as well as affordable. My only gripe is that it could have been packed a bit better. FedEx beat up the boxes a bit and some of the metal was sticking out. Gladly, none of it was damaged. Excellent product. Will be trying more of GMWD's stuff.
