An awesome machine, First off the belt squat does a great job keeping the focus on your quads and not on your knees which a lot of the bigger belt squats struggle to do, it feels much more comfortable. Secondly the instructions were very easy to follow when it came time to assemble it. Lastly the price of this machine is extremely fair when you consider how well it works and how it makes you feel during the exercise! Over all a perfect belt squat machine designed to make leg day more enjoyable.
I looked at a number of different belt squats and I settled on this one because of the limited space that I had and the money that I wanted to spend. Given both of those considerations, this is the best bang for your buck. Once assembled, the machine is very solid and I can load this thing up pretty heavy without any issues to the frame. My only cons would be that the red paint color is not that appealing as it’s very different from the candy apple metallic red finish on the leg extension/curl machine and there was several chips in the paint when it arrived. But it’s gym equipment and it’s gonna get dinged up so I didn’t really care.
Just to clarify that this is not a paid review. I needed something compact that still gets the job done and that was exactly what I got. It barely takes up any room and the quality is amazing. It’s a solid machine and has a decent amount of weight to it but it isn’t too heavy to move around if needed. I use it for various exercises not limited to belt squats. Rows work very nicely if you have that attachment already. The belt they send with it is sturdy and comfortable. I have no problem throwing a bunch of weight on and the machine stays solid. For a cost friendly option to most belt squats that are out there this one by far is the best and will not disappoint.
We have been waiting for a small FootPrint version to come out.. Takes up very little space and we squeezed her it. Our members love it.
