Half Rack with Functional Trainer HR01

Arrived today, took my wife and I about 4.5 hours to assemble, but we have a 3 year old so a bit distracted at times.
We were very impressed with GMWD and what they sold us. The directions were clear, the parts well marked, and as long as you have your own dockets and wrenches then it’s not too bad.
The machine works like a dream, it’s extremely sturdy and balanced. It does have a slight rattle at times from moving parts, but it’s very minimal.

I’m a Sergeant Major in the Army, we also believe this is the right size for occupations like ours (we move a lot). It’s not too big, even for our living room - but it means business.

I bought this folding rack as a solution for my limited garage space. I really needed to get back "under the bar", squats, deadlifts, pullups, and cable-work. This rack does all this better than my old huge rack for less cost.

I really like the construction and how easily you can go from one setup to the other.
GMWD has a great online installation manual, which I recommend using over the print version.

The parts all move smooth and are sturdy for what they do.

I am an avid weightlifter who was looking for something that could go in my garage, while not taking up a ton of space (I have a small single car garage). This was by far the best fit and a great deal. The rack is sturdy enough for weighted pullups and dips without needing to be nailed down into concrete. It shakes slightly when going heavy but nothing to be concerned about. The attachments are excellent especially at $700 total price - this was a great deal. Set up wasn't too challenging - I did it with just a 17mm socket wrench, though it did take me about 6.5 hours - the online installation video was super helpful. The safety bars being removable and adjustable is nice because I rarely want them up anyway. The cables are smooth - not quite commercial gym quality of course but really no complaints there very smooth after using a silicone spray to grease them up. Only items I would want improved are the little hooks that hold attachments - they fall off easily but it's not a big deal. Other than that, plate storage built in would have been nice - I am installing holders for plates onto my walls. All considered, this is a great item and I am happy with my purchase after first few weeks of doing workouts.

It is great design with a lot of options to train. Easy to assemble too. Saves a lot of space and it is build well.
