With over 25 years of fitness experience, police officer Luke has turned his home into a sanctuary for movement and stress relief.
How fitness get into your life?
Fitness has been a part of my lifestyle for over 25 years.
I started working out seriously in college Not really know what I was doing but just wanting huge arms. Soon after I joined the police academy and from there got into all types of training and fitness. It was imperative for me to stay fit I felt in that profession. I got certified in several disciplines in fitness and started training others.
Fitness is my lifestyle, my comfort zone and stress relief.
Why you decide to build up a home gym?
I decided to start a home gym many many years ago.
Part because I am such a recluse and feel more comfortable alone. And in part because of the crazy work schedule I had. I knew no matter what I wanted / needed to train. Most guys would be close so I started doing it at home. From there I started training clients in my garage and continue to add to the gym.
What is your daily/weekly fitness plan?
I train everyday. Movement is medicine for me. I don’t go all out every day. Some days may be just some mobility and walking etc. other days it’s run far and lift heavy.
What GMWD fitness products do you have?
I have the GMWD Stair Climber SS02, Leg Curl/Extension LE02, Leverage Squat Machine LS01, Calf Raise Machine T6, Chest Press Machine V2 (incline).
The Stair Climber I love but the Chest Press Machine V2 is probably my favorite I really like how it feels.
What GMWD Fitness machine you want to get next?
I really really want the GMWD leg press/hack squat combo next for the gym. I also saw the pendulum squat you guys have and it looks awesome. The leg press though is something I been wanting for some time.
Level up your gym now!
