This thing is dope as f*** I really like it, super comfortable I like to do 3-4 sets of each grip and incline and it just works the chest amazingly.
I’ve purchased some GMWD before, and I was looking for a flat bench press machine option since I currently had the V2 incline version. Once the 3-in-1 V7 surfaced,I WAS SOLD!
I have to admit I'm getting older now (53), and I've discovered some key benefits after using the 3-in-1 Bench Machine for a month.
First, I no longer get shoulder pain during chest workouts. I had stopped lifting heavy a few years back due to shoulder issues, but even lighter weights with higher reps would cause shoulder pain. This machine has changed that, I no longer feel any shoulder pain after a chest workout and I can finally feel a proper pump in my chest.
Second, working out alone, I would always leave at least 1-2 reps in reserve to safely rack the bar. No need to worry about that now. I can go to failure and still control the negative on the last rep.
The last thing I discovered, since this machine allows me to focus on my chest. I get a much stronger tricep workout. I was using more tricep on barbell bench press than I realized.
Overall, it's a great machine and I look forward to continuing to use it.
Well worth the price and works as advertised. Relatively inexpensive machine for what you get. Well designed and comfortable to use. To me its more like a fly – press and shoulder machine. I like to use it in addition to a standard bench press setup. It operates smoothly and allows me to use less weight on the side that I have shoulder issues with. It was packaged well and assembly was very easy. Only issue I can point out is there should have been instructions for use detailing the slide for the bench needs to be lubricated and you need to pull up on the seat at the same time as pulling out the locking pin to move it, or it may jam in the upright position.
